Omnipresent Marketing

Yesterday I was talking with a client about her marketing.

And something I mentioned to her was that having a solid brand with coherent branding, content and visuals reduces brand fragmentation.

She looked at me and said WTF is brand fragmentation ?

And I told her, brand fragmentation is something that happens when a company's marketing messages, visuals, or overall identity are inconsistent across different platforms. So eg: the website vibe needs to match the social media vibe in normal person language.

Otherwise different energies in both places creates confusion and weakens customer trust, recognition, and loyalty. That is why it’s best to have a unified strategy between all your marketing channels.

A post and conversation about marketing omnipresence has been brewing in me for months now and I haven’t quite known how to say it. But now since putting together a rebrand for a client I finally have the words.

Omnipresence means: the presence of God everywhere at the same time.

But that’s not what we are referring to here, in this case omnipresence means the state of being widespread or constantly encountered. Which is exactly what we want in marketing.

We want every single touch point to feel coherent, consistent and have the same energy.

When you can create an omnipresence in your brand that is so coherent, consistent and beautiful, your marketing has no choice but to attract all the new customers, opportunities for collaboration and more!

So today, here is your reminder…

Create an omnipresence and ensure each touch point is consistent and coherent. Your website needs to be coherent with all your digital marketing channels:

  • Youtube

  • Website

  • Instagram

  • Facebook

  • LinkedIn

  • Email Marketing

  • Etc

When these can all be coherent with one another… this strengthens the brands presence, builds more trust with the audience and reduces customer friction, which in turn, generates more leads.
